ACRAM and the Francophonie International Organization (OIF) for the Promotion of South-South Cooperation in favor of African Robusta

On November 5, 2021 at the headquarters of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) in Paris, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of Gabon, signed a Letter of Intent in the presence of their Excellencies Mr. Pham Minh CHINH, Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ms Louise MUSHIKIWABO, Secretary General of the OIF and Mr Ismael NDJEWE NDOMBA, Executive Secretary of ACRAM.

Cette démarche repose sur un projet initié par l’ACRAM et soutenu par l’OIF. Il est axé sur le renforcement des capacités des chaines de valeur des cafés Robusta dans l’espace ACRAM par le Vietnam qui est le leader mondial en termes de production de Robusta.

Le Gabon a manifesté son intérêt à ce projet et sollicité de se positionner pour la phase pilote.
